how to read a CDFS file?

Good evening everyone,

I burned a CD of personal photos in *.jpeg format that I was able to read once with Windows XP Home.
After a Windows update, I can no longer read this CD with XP because all the files are in CDFS format.
Windows Explorer displays all the photo icons, but I can't open them. Can someone help me?

PS: I can read this CD normally with Windows 98.

You go to Windows Media Player 11 (I'm on Vista) and you go to extract... try it, it will reconvert the file ;)

The CDFS format is not a file format but the file system of any CD-ROM, like FAT 32 or NTFS for Windows hard drives, for example. When you try to open a file, does it display a message? It might be that the association of file types has been lost? Perhaps it doesn't know anymore that to open JPGs it needs to launch a particular program. To be sure, go to Tools, Folder Options, and search for JPGs, see which program opens them right now and correct it if necessary.

Hello everyone,

CDfs is a file system for Linux systems that displays all traces of exports and reflects them on a CD as normal files. These files can then be mounted (for example, for ISO and images can be copied, played (for audio traces), etc. The primary goal of developing this file system was to enable access to information in the old ISO session.

if you want a little tip !!
Use Isobuster which will open it for you anyway because I had the same issue recently !!
Otherwise, there may be a possibility with Nero if it allows it.
