File blocked due to a name that is too long

Hi everyone

I accidentally renamed a file with a program. The name is apparently too long so I can't

- move/copy
- delete
- rename
- read

the file (nothing at all). Is there a solution? I also tried in console mode and with Total Commander.

Anyway, it's a mess

does anyone have a solution (of course I would prefer to keep these files rather than just wipe them with 'format d:')
