Hello,
I would like to play the divx files I have on my computer using my Xbox 360.
The problem is that when I select the movie on the console, it displays unreadable content.
With a message like: you need to connect to Xbox Live to update. Read 51-COODf236.
And I don't want to waste my free month of Xbox Live.
I also know that you can find this update online and burn it, but I really can't find this update online.
Does anyone know where to find update 51-COODf236?
Thank you for your help because I'm starting to get a bit desperate LOL

Hi, I'm currently updating via USB flash drive or a burned CD.
Here's the link to download the update... and good luck.

You have no choice, you'll have to connect to Xbox Live because it's a console update.

In that case, log on to the website
www.xbox.com
and you might find the update in the support section of the site. -
same, I can't find anything at all

So I just talked to some friends I have on Xbox Live and they all told me the same thing. You need to connect to Xbox Live and do the update, apparently you can't download it anywhere else but by connecting to Xbox Live.
-
And after updating, is it certain that I will be able to play DivX because I don't want to waste a month for nothing, lol? And is it serious or not if I don't have a hard drive on my Xbox 360?

Yes, you will be able to read DivX files because it has many codecs.

Ok, well in that case, I think I will use my account a bit later when I have more games, then I can test several games online.
Thank you for your help.

Ok, it's good, I've connected my Xbox 360 to the network, there's no problem now that I've successfully updated it. I can watch my DivX on the Xbox 360, and the Live, we can't say anything except maybe awesome.

It's cool for you. On the other hand, if you're looking for friends to play with online, go to this site, it's our team:

You say you're coming from Lord Dark Dante, that's me. (that's my Xbox Live gamertag)
See you later++ -
You need to go to one tab and you should choose "Read from CD," I think. I believe it's the multimedia tab.

<translation>And what to do if you've already wasted a month without knowing? The live was free, so how do I download it?</translation>
