How to buy furniture for URBZ

Hello,

I am desperately trying to buy furniture for my Sims, I know there is the auction house but I can't get the furniture from the catalog located in the main menu!!
I hope you can help me find a way to buy without going through the auction sale
I am playing The Sims in the City or URBZ on the Nintendo DS

    For Kumiko
    you need to go to the depot or the market, but you won’t find much there, or if you have unlocked the Sims district, you can go to the cyber café and do "online shopping" by buying on the internet.
