Hello everyone,

I bought a great game, Trackmania United Forever, a week ago. I linked my Nation account (free version) to the key that came with the CD, but I can't log into the forum or play in solo mode officially (I can play online on servers). If anyone has any idea because ... please please please please please thank you in advance
Configuration: Windows XP Firefox 3.0

Technical support response from Nadeo:

Hello,

In your documents, you should find a TrackMania folder.
If you have or had Nations Forever, United Forever will then retrieve the data from Nations Forever, preventing you from accessing certain game environments.

Converting a TMNF account to a TMUF account:

1. Run TrackMania United Forever.
2. Click on Profile.
3. If the account type is Nations, please upgrade the account using the TrackMania United Forever player key.

To find your TMUF player key:

1. Open the Steam folder.
2. Open the Steamapps folder.
3. Open the Common folder.
4. Open the TrackMania United Forever folder.
5. Open the NADEO.INI file, the key should be there.

If not, you need to delete the TrackMania folder located in your documents to reset the game.

I found 3 nadeo.ini, and it's not inside at all, the only thing is WARNING

Hi Valerie, as I mentioned in my reply to myself, you need to contact Nadeo who will unlock the key for you (if you provide them with a scan of your key and your CD, as well as your gamertag and your password via email, there’s no other solution, because giving you another key would be considered piracy and the key would quickly be blacklisted on the server.

What is Nadeo's website? I encountered a bug and it keeps asking me for my login and password, but I no longer remember my login.

Hi,

You'll be happy, I have THE solution, it's super simple, contact Nadéo '-_-.

Let me explain, you describe your problem in an email to this address, they will reply asking for your username and password as well as your TMUF serial number (along with a scan of the back of the case), your player number (which you can find in TMUF under options>profile if I remember correctly). It took three days (since I wasn't available during the day), but today I have no more issues, I'm an official player. If you want to know more, you can add me as a friend on TM (gamertag: marcelostickos).

Excuse me, I know that the problem is resolved, but I played the game for a while and then I stopped for a very long time and I no longer remember: my login, my password, my email address that I used, but I have the key and when I try to re-register it says that I am already registered. And originally when I signed up with this key, I had TrackMania United and after an update, it became TrackMania United Forever, so I wonder if this has an impact on the account.

Hi Topaze, for your issue, follow pretty much the same procedure, which is to contact Nadeo by email (you'll find the address on their website), send them a scan of your back cover noting the serial number below, ask them to stop the account or to reveal the code and username for you (in my opinion, they’ll probably "shoot" the old account). Keep me updated!

I just bought TMUF on steam and by making a mistake, I registered the CD key on the wrong TM account. I'd like to know if there is a way to transfer my CD key from one account to another without having to go through Nadeo.

As mentioned above, you only need a screenshot (if purchased online) or a scan of the box, the serial number on the back of the manual, and the account login (I'm saying this because it has happened to me before). ¨Sometimes additional account-related information may be requested.
