Wow and battle.net account issue

Hello WoW user =D

I'm not going crazy but...
Every time I log in today
I get a clearly stated message

(This account is now linked to a Battle.net account) and the following message is of little importance...

But... I never merged my damn account with a Battle.net account

I requested technical assistance and haven't received any news

So my question...

Am I the only one or are there several of us experiencing this??
Or do you think someone stole my account and I should cancel my credit card?

Please respond =)
Configuration: Windows XP Firefox 3.0.13

By the way, I got my account back... it’s not a hack or anything that happened to me, I’m sending you the email that was sent to me.

Hello Marc Charron,

Thank you for your interest in World of Warcraft.
First of all, please allow us to apologize for the unusually long delay in responding to your email.
The gnome emails are not exactly in top shape. Especially since the announcement of an impending cataclysm in Azeroth!

We are contacting you regarding your connection issue with World of Warcraft.

Your World of Warcraft account is indeed linked to your Battle.net account. Those who merged their World of Warcraft accounts with their Battle.net accounts were unable to connect to the game. This issue was caused by the American maintenance that was taking place. However, this technical issue has now been resolved by our technical teams.
We apologize for the inconvenience caused by these issues and thank you for your understanding.

My account is not linked to the game, how do I link it?

For anyone encountering the linked Battle.net account issue:

https://eu.battle.net/support/en/help/product/wow

Fill out the questionnaire, do what it asks you to do, and if you're as lucky as I was, in 36 hours you’ll be able to play WoW again (12 hours waiting for a response + 24 hours of account suspension to identify the problem). If you wish, you can even call technical support; maybe they can help you right away, but honestly (personally, I doubt it).

Hi everyone,

thank you charron666 for your replies, today I just encountered this problem and as the song says "it annoys me", I just want a clarification, how long did you wait before being able to play again? And did you really wait a long time for a response from them?

Thanks in advance

I also have the same problem, namely: that my WoW account is now linked to a Battle.net account. Please log in with the email address (for example ......) and the password of your Battle.net account.
I would like to know if the problem has been resolved, and if so, how did you do it, or is it their mistake, or is it still pending? Please respond to me as this is troubling me.
Thank you.

I called and they said they would try to address my issue, but they just sent me a form. But the killer question is whether your problem has been resolved (no). Well, normally they should do something, damn it. I’m still getting the same thing, but I’ll try for the antivirus. I can't even access my account management, so for the subscription... thank you for providing straightforward answers (if there are any).

For Clõùd's issue, it took me 2 weeks to get a response and regain my account...
But I forgot to mention something..

My characters are intact.
I have all my gold, my guild isn't full of stolen items or gold in the vault, nothing, nothing, nothing...
And I checked the log to see if my characters had connected.

I hadn't been connected the whole time I lost my account..

Why ??

What I think is that Blizzard had a problem and some couldn't connect to their accounts because they were accidentally linked to a battle.net account.

Oh, and also.

In the form,
They asked for the answer to the secret question
I couldn't even remember it.

So in the form, I managed to convince them it was really me, by telling them that my subscription ended on September 17 and I also wrote the keys for WoW and BC and the first 4 digits of my credit card... that convinced them

So that's all I can do to help you.

I even recommend it to you ^^

Hello everyone!

I was able to recover my account yesterday around 9 PM!

Actually, last Sunday, the day I encountered the problem, I immediately sent an email to report it as I'm sure you all did. They asked me for 2 specific things about my computer, and I could attach a screenshot. I didn’t mess around; I just took a screenshot of the error message when I logged into WoW. Anyway, I sent all that in early afternoon, not expecting to get a response, but in the evening at 9 PM, they sent me an email in English saying they had unlinked my account from Battle.net and restored my original account name. They also changed the password they sent me so that I could change it, but the crazy part is that my account was suspended for 24 hours because of this issue. However, when I logged back into WoW yesterday, there was no problem; my Death Knight was there, my undead character was too, and I hadn’t lost any gold but gained some (auction house ^^). By the way, when it disconnected, I was with my undead character; I don't know if that changed anything, I’ll have to check, but oh well... If the Tauren player and Druid class who was doing the quest: “At the foot of the citadel” in Outland happens to be here, I'm sorry for leaving you in the middle of the fight... (oh right, I forgot to say, when the problem happened, I was playing, and it disconnected me instantly)

Honestly, in terms of speed, the tech support really delivered here.

Hello,

I have the same problem with my account that says it is linked to Battle

Who did you send an email to in order to resolve this connection issue?
I'm completely lost, thank you

Exhilarating...

But actually, how do I link my WOW game with Battle.net? Because it tells me to enter my Battle.net account name + the password (the name is the email address)... But I don't know how to link the game with the site...

Hello to all WoW players, I just want to describe the problem I have and if possible, I would like to know if you have any answers. So, I created a Battle.net account yesterday, merged it with my WoW account, then when I enter my Battle.net username and password an error message appears: there is no World of Warcraft account associated with this Battle.net account, even when I enter my old WoW username another error message appears: this World of Warcraft account is now linked to a Battle.net account, please log in with your Battle.net username.

So, I can't log in in any way, I've tried to restart account merges but it tells me that I have already performed a merge ...

I am waiting for your responses as soon as possible ^^

Also, I forgot to mention something. I went to the Blizzard support site and saw the following message: "If you are unable to connect to World of Warcraft after an account merge, check if port 1119 in TCP is not blocked by your firewall, your router, or by a network administrator."

If someone could help me because I don't know much about computers, so there you go... thanks

The best thing if you are French ... call Blizzard, I didn't have that chance ... since I'm Quebecois.
They should all help you or threaten to change your credit card number.

I did it, and the next day after my third email, they apologized for the delay.
After a month of waiting -___-

And I got my account back...
You have all the required info here to recover your account

And for wowgamer
I might have a solution for you..
After an update sometimes programs can malfunction for a while..
Wait a few days but contact Blizzard support quickly.

And I confirm for everyone ..

If your account magically becomes linked to a battle.net account ..
It's not a hacker who targeted you..
There are too many people experiencing this for it to be hackers.

I had the same problem twice in a row because of those fucking hackers. The first time they linked my WoW account to a Battle.net account. I waited a week to recover my account, and when I got it back, they had stolen 1000 gold, all my gear, my items, and even my bags.
I realized that they slipped a spy on my PC to spy on what I was typing, I think.
And a week later, it happened again, even though I had installed Avast.

Battle.net account smells like a scam.

Hello,
I had a World of Warcraft account
I haven't played for ... A little while ^^ (Economic crisis)
And now I see that you need a Battle.net account ... How do I manage to get one since I already had an account and I didn't want to lose my characters?
What should I do?
Thank you.

Hi
I have the same problem as you, I'm trying to log in and it says: this account is now linked to a battle.net account. Please log in with the email address (for example ......) and the password of your battle.net account. The only problem (same for me) is that I don't remember creating a battle account. I tried to create one, but it tells me I already have a battle account linked to my wow account. I'll see on Monday what the support team will say.

There was a connection problem with this account. You may not have a World Of Warcraft account associated with your account, or you may be trying to log in from a region different from where the account was created. If this problem persists, please contact customer service. And on Battle.net, they are telling me that a game key is required... But what is that? :/

So give a clear answer, you're always saying things but it gets frustrating. You talk about how to unlock, etc... but provide a user manual or what to do, and what is TCP port 1119? Thank you for responding quickly.

Hello, I just had this problem, it’s really annoying !!

I immediately sent a request on their site, but do you think the requests can be processed over the weekend ??

Thank you!

I was using the Avast antivirus before...
When I replaced it with (Avira Antirvir)
I detected new viruses
And if you want to find viruses that use the internet to send information about you
Like the spyware you mentioned,
Go get (Comodo), it's a very very sensitive firewall,
It gives you information about applications that use your internet connection
and if there's an application you don't know...
You'll be able to get rid of it easily.
Ps: Comodo is so sensitive that it becomes unbearable, but if you keep it long enough and you tell it that every program you open is a safe application, after about a week, it will stop panicking for nothing.

Go get them, they are free, but they use a lot more power.

And for (greenriver)

It will take you at least a week,
Sorry, but you'll have to do something else with your weekend.

Thank you for your reply!

I have already installed Spybot Search and Destroy alongside Avast! On Wednesday, I cleaned a lot of trojans, so that might be why...

Otherwise, will they give me back my account without an ID? Because I can't make a photocopy or scan it...

However, I have other information like the last prepaid card used or all the CD keys from the boxes!

Well, you're not the only one; my account was merged without my consent as well. So, I created a Battle.net account, but I still can't retrieve my Warcraft account. Despite several support requests, I haven't received a response. ;(

So, thank you in advance to anyone who could help us.
