Hello, I have a problem with my Steam account. I play online on Counter-Strike Condition Zero and my account has been stolen. The issue isn't changing my password; it's that the email address I used to register on Steam has been deleted because I no longer used it. So, I would like to know if anyone could help me; that would be nice.

THEN YOU FILL IN:

In userID -> your email

In subject -> you type "hijacked account"

In question -> you type "my steam account was hijacked and I want to recover it" (I’m giving you the text in English to make it quicker, and you always type in this box) "my first name is **** and my last name is *****

In product -> you select STEAM

In Category -> you select Account questions and underneath Hijacked or stolen account.

In Account name -> your steam account name (which cannot be changed by the guy who stole your account, don’t worry)

In CD key -> your CD key for CS

Then in browse, if you can, you scan all the evidence that it is indeed YOUR ACCOUNT like the sheet with your CD key even if you had already typed it or a receipt for example.

Forget the other answers, this one is the only solution.

It's easy, if it's really your account, you send a message to Steam and give them your account name, the old password, the old email address along with a new one, and don't forget to give them your Steam key, and that will prove that it’s really your account. After that, they will send you an email with a link to change your password. That's it.

Hi, I actually have a whole different problem... So here's the thing, I have a Steam account and recently I bought CS:Source which also includes DoD:Source and HL²:Deathmatch. I installed everything with the CD key and everything works great... only my friend plays DoD and for that, I need at least an HL1 key... so I pulled out my old HL Generation that I had to validate the CD key and be able to play normal DoD with my friend, but Steam tells me that another account is already using this key when I try to validate it, even though I've never activated this key on Steam!!! Has it been hacked after all these years?? Anyway, how can I recover a new key knowing that I still have the CD and the booklet with the key and everything?? Please help me :(

Hello, I know that a lot of people have a problem with Steam. I only had the opportunity to buy it once because I’m from Algeria (we don’t have original DVDs or CDs here, and we don’t have credit cards to buy online). I come from a middle-class background and waited 2 months for a relative to be willing to buy me Steam with the money I saved up. After that, I waited 2 more months to finish assembling my PC... and now, when I’m about to enjoy the long-awaited moments to play on Steam finally in multiplayer, I realize that the key for my DVD that I just opened has already been used... the DVD comes from Spain.
What can I do???? Nothing, except maybe play non-Steam with a 200 ping or with bots.
If I had the opportunity to buy another one, I wouldn’t be here wondering how to recover mine.

Hey, it's been almost a year since I last came back to this post, I completely forgot about it.
So since my problem was solved a long, long, long time ago lol, I don't remember the message from Steam that they sent me after I reported the hack of my account.
So if you still have the messages from Steam, send them to my email address, and if you don't have them anymore, check my old message still in the same section, maybe they'll send you emails back..... Who knows...
Try to remove anything that might look like a password sent by Steam in the emails
(even though I wouldn't bother using it since I already have mine... unlike some... lol, seriously I feel for you, I had the same problem for 4 days and I couldn't stand not being able to play lmao).
Hoping to help you or help others in your case, keep me posted if there's any news.
