Hi,
I downloaded my torrent, so I have a WinRAR file (.rar). I see that inside there is a .dvd file and a .iso file. But the problem is this: I start extracting the file, the .dvd extracts, but when the .iso reaches 4% of extraction, it tells me that there is insufficient space and all that. However, I have plenty of space on my computer.
I don't know what to do anymore.
Thank you for your help.

Hello,
Your problem is most likely due to the Winrar buffer.
The Winrar or Rar extractor uses a buffer size almost equivalent to the extracted file.
(Which is completely ridiculous)
This buffer is usually located in the Winrar installation directory or TMP/Temp/.
So move the Winrar buffer by creating a folder named (winbuf for example) on your 261GB partition.
(Check in the Winrar options, you should find what you need; I don't have the software on hand)
And it should work...-
I think I can solve your problem, I had the same one for a game too:
your game must be in several parts, you need to download all the parts.
the ISO cannot be extracted if you don't have all the parts because during extraction, the ISOs of each part are reattached
Follow the demonstration below:
- download all the parts that should be numbered: 001, 002, etc...
- open the first part with WinRAR, extract it to your desktop and that's normally it because the other parts will automatically attach
So after that please update us on your progress -

Hi, as I can see you have a big problem.
You have a rar archive that contains a dvd file and an ISO file.
The dvd file extracts normally but the ISO reaches 4% and it says there's no space.
So the ISO file must be larger than 4 GB, otherwise that's not normal because the FAT32 file system does not accept files larger than
4 GB:
1: Either you change one of the partitions on the hard drive to NTFS instead of FAT32, for example, C:\, as the NTFS file system accepts all sizes. To convert C:\ for instance to NTFS, look it up online, you'll find it quickly.
2: Or you search on Google how to extract a rar file that contains a 6 GB ISO file.
I believe I have helped you. If that’s your problem, check if the ISO is larger than 4 GB in size; if that’s not the case, I don’t see how to solve your problem. -
Thank you GEGE220, you’re the best...
Indeed your method works... amiata didn’t even thank you... unless she didn’t see your solution.
I had opened the first RAR and tried to extract the ISO of over 4 GB directly, and it also told me that I didn’t have enough space when I actually did.
So by selecting all the RARs, I right-clicked on the whole thing and extracted here. It extracted my ISO and a few other files without any problems...
Then I mounted the ISO with Daemon Tools (a virtual DVD drive that allows you to see the contents of an ISO) and everything worked perfectly.............. -
Vérifie le dossier de destination si tu as une clé USB ou même une carte mémoire branchée, il peut peut-être extraire dessus et un fichier ISO ne s'écrirait pas, c'est une image de gravure.

Hello,
I have pretty much the same problem.
I have a rar file in 65 parts + a rar file containing an iso and a dvd. When I try to extract the iso, it stops at 4% and I get the message: CRC check failed in the file all-tru.iso. The file is corrupted.
If I double-click on the r00 file, it takes me to an .iso file, and when I try to extract it, it says: data error in the file all-tru.iso. The file is corrupted.
I have burned two isos without any issues, they worked perfectly but they were not in multiple parts.
Does anyone have an idea?
Thanks for your help.-
Hello everyone, it seems that no one has ever looked for a solution; the story about the disk being in FAT32 instead of NTFS is nonsense. The day you manage to install XP or VISTA under FAT32, let me know—it’s really just giving an answer to say something. Anyway, what I say is that when there’s no answer, it’s better to say nothing, or at least not to say something stupid...
The story about the Xbox game in RAR format, which contains a .rar file and then several numbered RAR files, is that you need to decompress all the RAR files. Once that's done, find the RAR file that contains the compressed .iso file along with the .dvd file to extract them, and then it will work. In this case, the .iso file needs all the other RAR files to rebuild during decompression. After that, you just need to burn it normally by taking the .dvd file, etc... So, my answer is the correct answer, at least for me; so far it’s working.
I hope I’ve been clear enough; good luck. -

my disk is in one piece and I have almost nothing on my computer and even when I try to find a place to put it the same message appears.

No, I have plenty of space, but the people on the download site where I got the file can use it and I can't. That's why I would like to understand what to do.
In any case, if there are other options, I'm always open to suggestions for help, lol. -
AHHH
I just saw something, I have an ISO file that contains 44 other files, how do I extract my ISO to access the other files? Do you know how? -
-
I tried, but it doesn't work. The ISO file is in a RAR file, and when I try to extract the ISO file, it crashes at 4%. And now it's asking me for more space. But I have 2 files like that, and both do the same thing.

Well, it’s true that it’s quite a lot. Strictly speaking, I’m okay with 8 GB but not 261. I don’t know if on Mininova you have a ratio because I think you’ll need to start over unless you find your issue... Right now, I really don’t see it. If you don’t have any removable storage to connect and you have 261 GB of hard drive, it should work.

the ISO cannot be extracted if you don't have all the parts because when extracting, the ISOs of each part are joined together.
Follow the demonstration below:
- download all the parts that should be numbered: 001, 002, etc...
- open the first part with WinRAR, extract it to your desktop, and that's it normally because the other parts will combine automatically
there you go, after that let us know about your progress.

I have an Xbox 360 game with 7 .rar files. I extract all of them, and it gives me an .iso file, but I am missing the .dvd file to be able to burn it. How can I get the .dvd file? Thank you.

Hello everyone, I hope to find a kind soul here (maybe I'm overdoing it) who can help me.
I have a winrar file of 7.29 GB, to be precise, but when I extract it, I eagerly await an iso file and a .dvd file. So far, so good, except when the extraction is done, no iso file appears; the little rascal is hiding. However, I have a system file, a video file, and an audio file, so when I try to burn it with ImgBurn, it tells me no, no, try again. How can I recover this iso file? Could it be due to my very recent PC that is running Windows 7? Thank you for your understanding and for the attention you will give to my desperate request. -
I have a computer that doesn't want to extract a PC game
and I downloaded the latest version of WinRAR and it still won't extract my PC games. -
my used space is 9,596,730 bytes 9.12 GB
free space is 154,116,816,896 bytes 143 GB -
what he calls space are the sections (hoping that there are several sections), if you scroll through and select the next section, it should work.

Hello, I have a problem with my PC regarding the ISO I just downloaded. When I open it with WinRAR or ISO Booster or even when I burn it, I only get two folders: one for audio and the other for video. The audio is empty, but the video folder is full. The problem is that I downloaded a series with 24 episodes, and I only find 5 video files of 2 minutes each, and there are even 2-minute introductions that are useless and take up 1GB. So please, I am desperate, help me and thank you in advance.

7-Zip solved my problem (the same as yours). Remove your other decompression software, then install 7-Zip and unzip your video.
