REMOVE A PC FROM THE DOMAIN

Hello,

I have recovered an HP Pavilion 422.fr PC that originally belonged to a domain. I wanted to retrieve it for personal use, but I am encountering a problem.

Here is the issue:
When I open the Windows session after startup, I receive a message saying
The user's profile could not be loaded correctly due to insufficient memory.

After that, I click OK and I land on my usual session name. I open the session and I find myself on the Windows desktop, but when I right-click > new, I only have a menu consisting of two items: folder and shortcut.

I would like to be able to access the full menu, including Word documents, text, etc... the usual options.

Thank you in advance for your invaluable help.

Best regards,
Laurent
Configuration: Windows XP Internet Explorer 6.0

Hello,
Due to a memory issue, the user profile could not be loaded and therefore access to the applications could not be granted.
I think the best option is to access the administrator account on this PC where you should have access to everything, including the applications.
To be able to access the user account, you need the password; if you don't have it, follow the instructions on the following page:
http://jc.bellamy.free.fr/fr/pwdnt.html

already tested on W2000 and it works without any issues
see you later
