Underline the header

Hello, I am currently writing my thesis and I want to know how to underline the header of a Word document and the footer, thank you.

    Good evening,

    You select "Show" "Header and Footer" then you use "Format" "Borders", you put a line under the paragraph to underline the entire header and a line above the footer.

    If you only want to underline the words, you choose "Format" Characters, as in the normal text.
