Bonjour tout le monde,
J'ai installé le Snapscan E20 sur une machine qui marche sous Windows XP. Le scan marche bien sur un compte administrateur, mais ne marche pas sur un autre compte egalament administrateur. Quand je l'appelle dans ce cas, j'ai toujours le même message: "Scanwise can not initialize in the installed language. Please reinstall the application". Quelqu'un peut-il me donner une explication. Que dois-je faire?

Thymlis says that in the installation folder of scanwise is a text file with the administrator name and a file whith the name of other user.
So you copy the content of the administrator file into the other file and save
And all is good by magic
Another solution is to run scanwise (not developped for xp !!) in the "compatible mode" and choose W98 or W Me
Seems to work well in a lot of configurations, try it

J'ai installé la dernière version du driver 2.0.0.9 mais rien n'y fait.
Avez-vous eu la solution à ce problème ?

Regarde dans le dossier d'install de ton scanwise, il doit y avoir un fichier texte portant le nom du compte administrateur, et un fichier texte portant le nom du compte invité.
Copie le contenu du fichier admin dans le fichier invité, sauvegarde et hop magie, tout fonctionne.

Xp et SP1 ou 2 se rentre en guerre avec agfa
Pour parer a ce problème aller dans program files/scanwise2_00 et trouver le fichier cnfgvars.txt
Dans ce fichier chercher la ligne /USE_ASPI, normalement il doit y avoir un 0 à droite de /USE_ASPI, il faut juste le remplacer par 1

Un peu tard pour répondre, mais je possède ce scanner et il fonctionne encore bien. J'ai le même problème. et contrairement a ce que dit agfa dans sa FAQ, on peut le faire fonctionner avec plusieurs utilisateurs, meme non admins.
Le truc c'est qu'il faut installer la version agfa scanwise 1.5 et non la 2.0.0.9
(j'ai installé les deux. les admins utilisent la 2 et les autres la 1.5)

The user account used for scanning must belong to the "Power Users" group or the "Administrators" group. The scanner will not work with a normal user account or a guest account.
There is no workaround and there will be no fix for this.
