How to send a text message in Ireland?

Bonjour,

I wanted to know how to send a text message to Ireland?
I have a blocked plan and the person I am trying to reach has a prepaid phone.
I am in France and I would also like to know the SMS sending rates for each person (that is, how much the SMS will cost for the person I want to contact and for me)

Thank you for your response!

    Hi,
To send a text message to Ireland, you need to dial the prefix for Ireland which is +353 and then the number.
As for the cost, I'm not sure but I think it depends on the operators. You should check with yours, and make sure you know which operator your contact is with, as it also depends if he (she) is with an Irish or French operator...
    I hope I helped
    See you later

      Hi,

We are both with the same operator, which is French since we are both French.
I checked my operator's website and they told me that a text message costs €0.30, whether for my blocked plan or for his pay-as-you-go "plan."
Do you think that when we send each other text messages, we both pay for it, or does each of us pay for our own message, like in France?

Thank you very much for your answer.

P.S: I sent my text message without entering the Irish prefix, and it still went through since the person I sent the SMS to replied to me.

      Anyway, thank you very much!!

mOii54, did you send the message without a prefix, without anything?
