Hello,
can you solve this exercise;
"Matthieu Farfelu brags about dieting. He declares: "Per meal I eat only 2/7 of 5/3 of 14/15 of 9/4 of a chicken."
What fraction of the chicken does he eat exactly per meal?

    Begin with a simpler exercise: one third of three quarters of the chicken, how much is that? What operation do you perform?

      Yes, thanks for the advice, but the problem is that it's a DM for Monday the 21st and I really don’t understand anything! And for the exercise “1/3 of 3/4 of the chicken,” I would do 1/3 × 3/4 = 3/12. Is that what we should do?

        Yes, the operation is good, except that instead of calculating mechanically, you must simplify to make your fraction irreducible.
        Now, you know that when you chain fractions, you must multiply them. You just have to do it for your exercise: BUT be careful, simplify!!! before calculating.

    Thank you for the advice! but for my exercise I find 1! But if he goes on a diet he cannot eat a CHICKEN all by himself?
