Installation des pilotes nvidia

Salut,
je vous remercie tous de faire fonctionner ce site, grâce auquel j'ai fait des progrès très sensibles depuis que j'ai installé linux, il y a deux semaines.
je voudrais améliorer les performances graphiques de mon système (mdk 9.2) et pour cela je dois installer les pilotes pour ma carte graphique geforce 4. je télécharge les fichiers, je les décompresse. après je dois (d'après les instrucitions que j'ai trouvé sur internet) taper make install en root. mais j'obtiens ce message incompréhensible :

la seule chose que je comprenne, c'est qu'il y a une erreur!
y'a t-il quelqu'un qui comprenne ce langage ?

Tu devrais télécharger le binaire d'install des pilotes :
http://www.nvidia.com/object/linux_display_ia32_1.0-5328
Mais vérifies que tu as bien installé les packages dont il a besoin (bin-utils,...)
