MESSENGER the bar has disappeared!

Hello, I have a problem on MSN: you know, in a conversation, there is a bar to send winks, emoticons, change the background... and so on, this bar has disappeared!!
HELP ME!!!!

P.S: I have Windows Live Messenger!! 
Configuration: Windows XP Internet Explorer 7.0

    eh eh open the instant window of a contact check that you have the menu bar / go to tools / below text size you have show toolbars / you click and then check standard and formatting you apply and ok

    Have you tried uninstalling it properly (via add-remove programs, and by deleting the My Received Files folders, your shared folders, and everything related to MSN on your disk --> Programs (or Program Files) --> Windows Live) and then reinstalling?

    If you don't have the menu bar, in your instant messaging window next to the small brush on the right side of the window, you have the icon of a folder with a blue dash and a small white arrow, click on it and check the menu bar. There you go, it appears at the top of your window under your login nickname @+++++++++

      Good evening, I have the same problem as tiltkill and it seems that you misunderstood his issue. It's not about the toolbar under the username, but about the bar at the bottom of the chat window, where the winks, emoticons, winks, etc. are located... If someone can help us, thank you.
