my taskbar has disappeared

Hello everyone
so I’m new to the field of computing
and what just happened to me is synonymous with a big hassle
since yesterday my taskbar has disappeared after my daughter wanted to shut down the computer by pressing the tower button as if we wanted to turn on the computer
I’ll explain, she wanted to turn off the computer by the button we usually use to turn it on instead of shutting it down like she usually does
I’ve already read the messages on this subject but I can’t find out how to get it back
yesterday I even tried to do a system restore but no luck
if you could help me that would be kind of you

If your taskbar has disappeared, simply click on Start - Control Panel - Classic View - Taskbar and Start Menu, then check the box "Keep the taskbar above other windows."
Your taskbar should no longer disappear.

If your taskbar is located somewhere other than the bottom and you want to move it to the left, right, or top of the screen, simply right-click on the taskbar and uncheck "Lock the taskbar" if it isn't already unchecked. Then, left-click on the taskbar and drag it to where you want it. To prevent this from happening again, check the box "Lock the taskbar."

Hi palu, don't panic like this to start with, right-click below your bar if there's any left and lock it, otherwise just normal click with the mouse while holding it down (same thing) and bring up that famous bar.

thanks for trying to help me
but I have already tried that but there's no way because it's no longer on my desktop
I tried going into the task manager as explained in some other messages about the missing taskbar and I did as instructed
close explorer.exe then start explorer and OK and then it reappears and 2 seconds later it disappears again
when I restart my PC it’s there and then after 10 seconds it disappears
I don't know what to do anymore

Have you tried in every corner of the screen?
You can hide it in the top right or left.

If you press the Windows key and E at the same time, does something happen?

Hello everyone

To bring back the taskbar, right-click on the desktop > properties > themes tab > in the drop-down menu select Windows XP

If it reappears, right-click on it and select: lock the taskbar

If that doesn't work, run a virus scan

Lastly, there is software that repairs the taskbar, the notification area, and the desktop, it's called Taskbar Repair Tool Plus.

my taskbar keeps disappearing all the time,
and I can't get it back. To get it back, I have to close my PC for about 10 seconds and then it comes back.
When I click on the Microsoft key on the keyboard, nothing happens, and there are no icons on my screen either...

Hello,

I've been having the same problem since I installed Kaspersky Internet Security 7.0

It detects a Hidden Data Sender in the Explorer.exe file, but it can't fix it (probably because Windows is already using the file)

I tried restarting Explorer.exe from the task manager, but after a few seconds, Kaspersky alerts me that the size of Explorer.exe has been modified, then the taskbar disappears again.

I installed CCleaner and AdAware and ran scans, but nothing works, the problem is still there!

Since I've had this problem, my PC is very slow....

Any help would be appreciated!!!
