With an Acer computer, you can normally perform a restore without a CD.
During startup of your computer, when the Acer logo appears, simply hold down both keyboard keys ALT+F10 at the same time and the restoration will begin. After the restoration, your computer will have the factory configuration (it will be like new).
You can also create your own restore CDs. Here is the procedure:
Acer has specific software for this, called Acer eRecovery Management.
Here's how to access this software:
Start > All Programs > Acer Empowering Technology > Acer eRecovery Management > to burn restore CDs, click at the bottom on "Burn Disc" once eRecovery is launched > Then click on "Create the factory default disk" > They will prompt you to insert a CD or DVD and the burning will begin.
Here is the best solution to obtain Acer computer restore DVDs.
