PS3 error message 8002F997

Hello,
I have a PS3 connected via wifi, it asks me to update my system, which I did via the internet (error 8002F997) at 69%, so I tried downloading the update from PlayStation and it gives the same error at the same percentage.
What can I do?????????????????

    Hi everyone!
    I also have the same problem as you
    and someone advised me to format the hard drive in a PS3 60GB to avoid damaging the PS3 system (I also have a PS3 60GB) and I’m not sure if it's a good idea or not :s...
    and did you find a solution for your play?

    Help me! according to Sony's support, they don't know where this error comes from!

    I have the same error, it's a real hassle. It started when I was playing GTA4 and after that the image goes crazy. When I turn on the console, sometimes there aren’t even logos on the home screen! And during the download of the update it stops at 60 percent. I’ll take it back to Micro Mania (Micromania) if they can’t fix it, it’ll be a new console.. Long live new technology.. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
