Hello,
surprise this morning:
I opened Mozilla Thunderbird as usual to read my emails, and all my folders and subfolders have disappeared.

First, I don't understand at all what happened;
Second, it would be great if I could recover my messages...

Thank you for your help.
Configuration: Windows XP Firefox 2.0.0.12

    Hello,
I may not be an expert, but I am persistent! Following the disappearance of my folders on Thunderbird, I found a solution that might be useful!
    1. Open Thunderbird (TB)
    2. Go to Local Folders
    3. Open: "View Settings for This Account"
    4. Go to Local Folders and click on Browse
    5. You will see the folders related to your server (Mail and ... Local Folders, Inbox.sbd, send.sbd)
    6. Choose either Inbox or send (or Local Folders) and click OK. The related folder will be associated with your TB.
    7. Go back to TB, close and reopen TB, the folders should normally appear!
    8. Good luck

      Hello.

After clicking on "compact", my messages from the inbox disappeared.

My other folders (backups and other archives) are still there.

I wanted to follow your method: I chose "SEND" ... now everything has disappeared! My archives and backup folders!

      How can I retrieve them?

      It's crucial!

      Thank you.
