Hello,
I am using Excel 2007. My issue is quite strange:
When I open an Excel file, the software launches correctly but! my file does not display. I have to click on "Open" and close the window for my file to finally show up in the spreadsheet.
I ran the Office Diagnostics (provided by default in Office Tools), it repaired some errors, but not this one...
What should I do? Where could the problem come from?
I will try uninstalling/reinstalling to see if it has any effect on the transparent opening.
Thank you in advance for any other suggestions!

Hello thepchou,
Check out this article on Microsoft's site regarding this issue and try the proposed workaround for Office 2007: https://docs.microsoft.com/fr-fr/office/troubleshoot/excel/error-when-send-commands-in-excel
Keep us posted. Talk soon!

It doesn't work either. However, I found the solution!
In the end, the first intuition was the right one: I looked in the Startup and Xlstart folders in the original office folders: nothing. But I hadn't checked the startup and xlstart folders in C:\Documents and Settings\login\Application Data\Microsoft\Word | Excel \Startup | xlstart\.
There you'll find PDFMaker.dot or PDFMaker.xla. You can either delete them or move them.
Thank you for your help! -
