Hello,
I'm currently in general 10th grade and I can say that I'm really struggling, so I was thinking of redirecting myself towards a vocational diploma. The "catch" is that I need to choose my vocational diploma (which makes sense), and I was considering going for a vocational diploma in IT because this field seems promising and fascinates me (IT). Does anyone know which vocational diploma I should choose, knowing that I don't want to end up in a helpdesk or customer service role?
Thank you for your responses.

Hi,
Before you move on to Bac Pro, you will need to complete a BEP. You can do some research online to find out about the different BEPs, or alternatively, visit a career counselor (preferably outside your school, lol).
Have a good evening.

Hi everyone, is it really mandatory to go through a vocational certificate (BEP), can't we do a general 10th grade and go directly to a professional baccalaureate?

Hello, I am also in the second year of general studies and I would like to know if someone wants to repeat in the professional baccalaureate second year, do they take the grades from middle school or from the second year, or do they average the two? Please!!

Hello, yes you can repeat your second year for a vocational baccalaureate, and yes they take the grades from the second and third trimesters to calculate an average, that's it.

BEPs no longer exist now... It's straight to 3 years of professional bac! Well, I don't know if it's still the case for IT, but for most sections, it is!

It's rather direct second year of vocational high school.
It seems to me that to move on to any vocational high school diploma, you have to repeat, that is to say, redo your second year but this time in the vocational second year!
Hello, I am currently in the second year of general education but it's not going well at all. I want to move towards a professional diploma in commerce, but I would like to know if I have to start over completely or if I can go directly into the second year of the professional diploma, according to the new reform?
1. BEPs no longer exist since the reform of the professional baccalaureate (three-year professional bac, to have more "candidates" than the general and technological bacs)
2. I did two second grades (repeat), one general first and then I redirected myself to a professional bac (in the first year). I had no issues.
3. As for computer science, before it was the professional bac MRIM (itself replacing the professional bac MRBT) (but it only exists in Brittany, as far as I know; in the rest of France it's now SEN (electronic and digital systems where you have two options, among which are networks and others...).
At worst, try to go to a CIO, they probably have the addresses of the schools concerning those professional bacs.
Finally, now you no longer directly take the BEP. Just that at the end of the first year you have one or two practical exams that give you an "equivalent".
There you go.

I am in general second year (I struggle with bad grades ^^) and I would like to transition next year to a Professional BAC in Technical Use (BAC Pro TU). So moving from general second year to first year of BAC Pro TU. Do I need to catch up on the second year of BAC Pro TU, meaning repeat it, or can I go directly to the first year of BAC Pro TU? Thank you for your answers.
