How to add music to a burned CD?

Hello,
I would like to know if it's possible to add music to an already burned CD?
Let me explain, a few days ago, I burned 3 songs for my mother that she needed for her job and now she tells me that she needs 3 more, is it possible to burn them onto the same CD? Or if not, how can I erase what's already there and start over? (it's a CD-RW) For the first burn, I used Windows Media Player...

    You need to check if your CD is rewritable (CD-RW), otherwise you cannot.

    I realize that I forgot to clarify my problem properly. When I try to burn these 3 additional songs, I get a message to insert a blank CD, and then my CD player opens.
