I can read CDs, but suddenly I can no longer play my MP3s that I have been playing perfectly for months?
I use Winamp and I don't see what could have been changed...

    redownload it and reinstall the beast, it will be better.

    I may have reloaded the latest Winamp and tried using the Windows media player: still nothing!

    Everything works fine but there's no sound (even if I plug in something else other than my speakers!)
