Internal error n°2 2-6

Hello,

I bought Tell Me More Arabic for Windows 2000 and XP, the installation goes well but when I start the software, I get "internal error #2 2-6" that appears. I have the required configuration, yet I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling it but nothing works; and the technical support is unreachable. Could someone help me? Thank you in advance.
Configuration: Windows XP Firefox 2.0.0.11

    I just had the same problem with Tell Me More Chinese, which installed fine but showed error 2-6 when I wanted to use it.
    1- I installed the following Microsoft update KB917607 to access the Help files for Tell Me More.
    Here is the page where the download is located:

    2- To run the lessons CD, do not use autorun!
    Do the following:
    - Open folder and show folder
    - Right-click on AutoRun
    - "Run as administrator"

    There you go, after that it works perfectly for me!!

    Hi Amandine,
    I don't know if you found the solution to launch tell me more without any issues.
    Indeed, it's due to a Windows protection (most often on Vista and Windows 7, which is the case on my laptop).
    To do this, you need to configure your firewall and allow tell me more to communicate through your firewall (control panel and security).
    Then go to the tell me more launch icon, right-click it, and go to properties. Choose the compatibility tab and check "run as administrator," then apply and relaunch the application.
    In principle, it should work. And long live the protections under Windows 7. Now that I've bought my new laptop, I have to remove all the restrictions of Windows 7 to reinstall my old applications. (I’m not going to repurchase all my applications just to please Windows, no way!)

    I simply had to right-click on the "tell me more" icon and start it as an administrator.

    I have the same problem on my computer, error number 2-6.
    I right-click on the Tell Me More icon and start as administrator but nothing happens. What should I do? Thank you for replying as soon as possible!!

    I have a problem "internal error n°2 2-6" on Windows 7...
    I followed the instructions in the forum: "run as administrator" and "allow my firewall for tell me more". And it still doesn't work...
    Can someone please help me?
