Hello,
This is the second time I've been contacted by a scammer regarding the sale of my car. The first time, I almost fell for it and even scanned some documents, I believed it so much! This time, I won't be fooled and I would like us all to get revenge!! I'm starting a new contact... if you have any great ideas to mess with this one... I'm OPEN!!!! I've been pretending to believe it for now!! (I called the police, but they can't do anything....) too bad!!! LET'S FIND AN IDEA TO MESS WITH THEM IN RETURN!!! (email below...)

Hello,

I am MME A.EVELYNE, responsible for a car fleet. I just saw your advertisement for sale on the internet and I am interested, which is why I am contacting you to check if the sale is still available. If so, please send me the information related to the vehicle (photo and current condition). Thank you for your understanding.

Best regards

If we have the scammer's email address, we can flood their inbox with large and unreadable files and subscribe them to multiple 'newsletters'. See for example this site provided by a prominent colleague from this forum:
    https://www.linternaute.com/
We can also pretend to go along with the scam and create numerous incidents, such as providing fake Western Union MTCNs...

I almost got tricked by the same person too.
    His message:
    Hello,

My name is Mr. JEAN MARIE WESTON, I am interested in your ad.
I would like to know if it is still available, and if so, please include the following information in your reply:
    -interior and exterior photos
    -date of first registration
    -engine originality
    -mileage
Thank you for sending me this information for the next steps of the transaction.

    Best regards
    Jean Marie Weston

On the same day, I received another almost identical message.
Their technique: Deposit money into your account using a blank check. By the time the bank notices the fraud, it's too late, the vehicle is gone abroad (with all the papers and sales invoice). The bank will then demand the sale amount back.

    It's chilling

There is a way to catch these fraudsters, but it is risky: pretend to sell, let them come, and ... no vehicle to take. It then costs them a trip and a day. But be careful, these people can be dangerous, I believe.
