CSI: Crime Scene Investigation Game Save

Hello,

I started playing my new game "the experts".

I have a problem because I can't see how I can save my game.
That is, when I am on the 2nd level and I exit, the game does not save my data.
I go back to the "load" tab and it gives me the game with my username but always at the first level.

I have to start over every time from the beginning!

I hope someone can help me understand what I'm doing wrong, and I hope I was clear.
(I am a beginner in this area)

    Hello,

    Normally, the game automatically saves your progress, starting from
    the moment you have completed the initiation phase (at the very end, you need
    to ask Grissom for his opinion on the hotel’s registration card, then
    the initiator finishes by saying “Good luck”).
    If you exit the game at that moment, you should have the hair,
    the torn fabric, and the hotel registration card.

    Then, when starting the game, from the “Main Menu”, select
    “Continue a game”, then click on the name of the game (it should
    appear in white). On the right, the name of the last
    case that you managed to reach will appear (the first case is titled
    “Deadly Hotel”). Then click on the “Load” button located under
    the name of this case.

    If the game indeed could not save your progress, we advise you to make sure
    that you do not have any active security software that might prevent the game
    from writing your progress.

    As for the security software, what do they mean by that? My antivirus is Avast!!
    Do I need to take a specific action on it??

    I can't take it anymore!!!!

    so I uninstalled and reinstalled with the "recommended installation" option instead of minimum.
    and now it works again
