Hi nichou666, I don't have the driver for the simplified communications PCI controller, there's a question and exclamation mark before it, it says other devices.
Thank you, best regards.

For people using HP DC7900 and who are running Windows XP
download from the HP site and install these drivers:
    1-Intel AMT LMS_SOL for AMT 3.xx
2-Infineon Trusted Platform Module (TPM) 1.2 Driver for Microsoft Windows XP
    it works!!!

I have the same problem with an HP COMPAQ 8200 ELITE CONVERTIBLE MIONITOWER...
You need to find a driver called:
INTEL MANAGEMENT ENGINE INTERFACE, or update the driver (I did it in seven, it updates it)

Hi, faced with the same problem as all of you, I found the solution:
The PCI Simple Communication Controller corresponds to a MODEM, mainly the one integrated into the motherboard, so install the drivers for this card (see the manufacturer's website) and everything works. Not necessarily in a second case: the drivers install correctly but the message is still present, so you need to update the drivers by right-clicking, then selecting the directory where the drivers were installed during the failed installation, and everything works, the line: "PCI Simple Communication Controller is removed and replaced by MODEM 56K USR........

There you go, I hope you have the same issue
    Bye

      Hello,

      I am on XP,
I have had the same problem for almost two years.
This does not disrupt the functioning of my PC.

No one has been able to explain to me how to fix this error.

So I'm using Windows XP Home
and I found out how to do it! (Yes, it's possible ^^)

First, go to the Packard Bell website
    (support)
    http://support.packardbell.com/fr/item/?m=step1
then search for your type of PC
find the model.... (look below your PC, there should be a reference, it's the name of your PC. Go to quick search and note it down.)
After finding the type of PC, click on the image... (click on the actual name of your PC)
Normally, you should see your PC with below: product information, downloads, troubleshooting
    Click on downloads...
A list of drivers will appear
    Look for all your drivers
But for the PCI, you need to take the "modem driver"
    Download it....
Then go to the desktop and click on the install icon
And there you go, restart your PC and off you go

    There you go ^^
    Contact me at
cintremat@hotmail.fr (specifying what you want ^^)
Sorry for the mistakes, I'm too lazy to correct them ^^

    Hello,
I have the same problem with my simplified communication PCI controller. My motherboard is MSI PM8PM-V (MS-7222) (3 PCI, 1 AGP, 2 DDR2 DIMM, Audio, Video, LAN). I checked the manufacturer's website, I installed several drivers but nothing has changed ???????
It's strange and I can't find the solution. If anyone can help me, thank you.

Orgasmic is right, search for at least 5 minutes before going to shout on the forums that you can't do it!!!
Go to the manufacturer's website of your PC, then in the downloads or driver section... and you will definitely find the corresponding driver by entering your PC's serial number. For Fujitsu, it's here:
    http://support.fr.ts.fujitsu.com/fr/support/downloads.html

So he advises you all to buy a "Fjitsu", but go hang yourself and your computer instead of burning people like you do.

Sacrin, you say go hang yourself, but I point out that he is helping us by saying that and then you shouldn't criticize him Already

I think people look things up before posting... and most of them have already visited the manufacturer's site with their serial number...
In short, I confirm, he looks down on people without actually helping them...
      Anyway
