DIGITAL MEDIA SCAM W

Bank statement this morning, observation: on November 11th debit of €39.00 as well as on 21/11/07 for €49.95 by DIGITAL MEDIA W.
I immediately called my bank which confirmed the procedure already mentioned in the forum. Request the blocking of the credit card, file a complaint at the police station or the gendarmerie, and report everything to the bank. I was told to expect 2 to 3 months before seeing the amount credited back to my account.

they also call me to post an ad for selling my vehicle, they tell you it costs 19.9 and you realize that your account is debited every month for that amount, will it stop or not?

Here I have the same problem, I never thought that my ad for the car would be renewed without my consent.

Merci.

Hello everyone. Apparently, Digital Media may be linked to the used car site AUTOREFLEX. According to the site, it is the name of the financial service of MAPFRE WARRANTY (or ALLIANCE OPTIMALE), which is actually a mechanical breakdown warranty to facilitate the sale of your vehicle.
OPERATING MODE: The advisors bombard you with calls until you pick up. Once you respond, they do everything to get you to accept their offer, which is a mechanical breakdown warranty for €400 with a promotional offer of 10% and a payment in 3 installments without fees. They promise that your vehicle will be sold in less than 15 days with this warranty and even commit that, in case of non-sale of the vehicle, they will publish your ad for free indefinitely.
Then they ask for your credit card number over the phone, and if you prefer to subscribe online (which makes sense since the payment is secure), that's when they tell you that you no longer benefit from the 10% if you subscribe online. So, they have you in this way. You eventually give in, provide them with your credit card number over the phone, and two days later you realize that a withdrawal from Digital Media has been made from your account. The amount of the withdrawal varies: it can be from €20, €30, or €40 up to €150 or more.
As soon as you see this on your bank statement, first reflex: block the transaction. Then: inform your bank and finally, file a complaint and send a copy of the complaint to your bank to obtain a refund for the damage suffered.
Another point: when you post an ad to sell your vehicle on AUTOREFLEX, if you do not delete it after a month, they will charge you for a 2nd month of subscription and so on as long as your ad is online (around €30/month).
MORAL: Read the contracts carefully, never give your bank details over the phone, and when in doubt, be sensible and refuse all offers!
The internet is a great invention, but it's in situations like these that we see its limits...
