Hello,
I installed the STRONG SRT 6410 digital satellite receiver and mistakenly recorded a wrong orientation of my satellite dish for receiving the ASTRA satellite.
How can I reinstall everything from the beginning???

Mon terminal SRT 6410 is stuck. Upon powering on, the boot process goes from d001 to d99, then finishes with a pb03 message, and then nothing happens. The terminal remains powered (green light) but there is no display. The remote control is also unresponsive, and the only way to cut the power is the switch located on the back of the terminal.
The Strong service number 0826029928 seems to be a decoy: either it doesn't answer or it's busy !!!!
I've spent 3 hours there yesterday anyway!
What should I do? -

Hello, we have just installed the Strong SRT 6410. We had some difficulties as the titles in the manual did not match what was displayed on the television screen. Then we have a spectacular channel lineup. But we do not have the regular channels like: TF1, A2, FR3, M6, TMC. Would you have a solution because the phone number 0800 is always busy? Thank you. I believe we are on Astra as a satellite.

The update resolves the issue with regional TVs
It takes many attempts for it to succeed.
The countdown should go from d001-->d099
then f000-->f100
Generally, the countdown gets stuck before the end.
When this happens, you must turn off the decoder (power button at the back of the device) and turn it back on.
(unlike what the manual says)
The countdown should then resume and progress a little further than the previous attempt.
Obviously, if the countdown doesn’t resume, it’s lost and you need to return the device.
Normally, it resumes and eventually reaches F100
The update is then successful

Bonjour, fais ce que ma dit de faire l'anonyme et tu verras, cela marche. Prends ton temps, allume et attends. D 000 doit atteindre D 100 et F 000 doit atteindre F 100. Cela aura tendance à ne pas atteindre F 100 tout de suite. Alors éteins et rallume jusqu'à F 100. Cela peut prendre 20 fois, à chaque fois cela avance un peu plus. Tu verras. Salut, à bientôt.

Procedure to follow for installing the Strong 6410 decoder.
First, the satellite dish must be precisely oriented, to the millimeter, on the ASTRA 19°2 south satellite.
Turn on your TV
Turn on the decoder.
Insert the smart card WITH THE CHIP FACING DOWN.
Using the remote control, press MENU, go to INSTALLATION, then QUICK INSTALLATION, enter FRENCH and then choose the TV format. Let the decoder do its job; it will find the 19 TNT channels.
When the channels are found, enter the number 301, go again to INSTALLATION and then to CHANNEL SETTINGS,
press the RED button (RCL) to execute the automatic search, wait and you will have about 250 channels including TV5 Monde and TV5 Europe, RTBF SAT, etc...
I recommend then updating the software, but above all, when the update is in progress, do not touch anything and especially
PATIENCE PATIENCE PATIENCE, a countdown will take place in two steps; everything will be finished when the decoder displays f100
It is an excellent device, but unfortunately the manual is full of translation errors; the decoder is manufactured in Korea.

J'ai installé mon Strong 6410 sans problème, parabole à 2 mètres du sol, signal 78 % qualité 63 et pourtant pas de TF1, France 3 ou M6, la mosaïque me dit "mélanger" Wy. Aidez-moi, merci.

Hello,
I had the same problem, receiving some channels and not others due to a weak signal (60%) even though the dish was well aligned.
The solution: connect the antenna cable to the Out socket (the one on the outside when looking at the back of the device) instead of the in socket.
I did that and it worked perfectly.

Thank you for your very relevant information, however I would like a clarification as I called customer service 15 days ago where they advised me to patiently wait for version 1.4 (currently when the decoder is turned on it is version 1.3).
Since I am on my third decoder, I especially did not dare to make the update for fear of messing up the entire system again and not being able to do anything.
So I have been on standby since January 15 waiting to see this famous version 1.4 appear on the screen.
What do you think? Should I take the risk of following the procedure you kindly suggested, because after reading your message I no longer know what to do!

Bought this morning at Darty this srt.6410 because I am in a shadow area of TNT terrestrial!!! and I am faced with this reboot problem right from the start after an initially correct beginning until the choice of Fr3 Poitiers.
Then nothing more, the remote control doesn't respond and it boots from d001 to d099, and the sequence until the display stops each time. I try to reboot again, but nothing happens and I'm getting ready to return this device that I was counting on...
Should I still get frustrated rebooting it on M/A several times? Or should I throw in the towel and get a refund?!-
