Issue with Strong SRT 5011 TNT Decoder Solved

Hello,

I bought a TNT decoder from the brand Strong, model SRT 5011. When I start the initialization, I get the following message "Antenna power overload - Turn off the decoder - Check the antenna." The solution to this message is not in the user manual.

Does anyone have the solution or any ideas on the matter?

For your antenna overload issue, simply go into the menu, then installation, next system configuration, and finally antenna power, and there you need to select off.

Hi, it happened to me before. It's the power supply for an indoor antenna that is activated. So at startup, you need to choose either before installation or after in the setup; antenna power supply should be set to off since the TNT is probably connected to an outdoor antenna. That's it, bye.

I had the same problem. The cause has been described above, but if we can't do anything other than turn it off and on again, only to end up with the same message every time ... not great :-(
I managed to solve it by turning the decoder back on after --unplugging-- the antenna :-)
Then go to the menu to cancel the antenna power option. And then plug everything back in :-)

Phew!! It's working now!! Just before the match between France and Argentina.... In hindsight, I think if it hadn't worked for the match, it wouldn't have been a tragedy, hehehe!!

Hello, I bought a TNT and I wanted to connect it with my satellite dish which I receive with Arab countries and also Multivision, but nothing shows up because I have the decoder for Arab countries and I bought a T to connect the input from the satellite dish. I created a (T) that goes to my decoder and the other to my TNT, but the scan doesn't pick anything up and it always says no signal. If anyone can help me, thanks.

Hello, Like others before me, I had a problem with the strong 6410 model to access the TNTSAT package. I hadn't finished the configuration and searching for channels when it suggested I download new firmware. Foolishly, I confirmed it, but at the end of the download (D001 to D100), it didn't restart as indicated in the manual and showed nothing on the front panel. After an hour of waiting, still nothing, so I decided to turn it off with the back button and restart it, but it seems that the download procedure automatically resumes and always ends with a PB003 message. This behavior happens every time I turn the decoder back on, and it's impossible to access the menu, which supposedly has a factory reset section. If anyone who has had the same problem has found a solution, it would be nice to share it. Thank you in advance.

Normally, you need to restart as many times as necessary until the update is complete. After the D00 --------> D100, there are F00 -------------> F100, and yes On some devices, you have to restart much more than 10 times. Welcome to the land of the strong's traps.

repeat the operation (turn off, turn on, redownload) until the fs increment to 100 as Testitout said. It takes a lot of time with a reboot each time but there's no other way. Good evening! With the Strong, I notice that there are only all sorts of problems.  As for me, I have installed 2 Sagem satellite TNT decoders, the installation was perfect and there are no issues. Hi  the demo crashed during its software update (regardless of the version)  the only solution is to replace the device or repair it (if it's under warranty)  I bought the 6420 today and it crashed (that's the biggest flaw of this device).  I went back to Darty and they replaced it for me.

Good evening. So, my brother gave me his TNT decoder SRT 5120 today. It worked perfectly at his place. I plug it in at mine and to my surprise, there’s no signal and therefore it can't find any channels, of course. Yet, I have connected the terrestrial antenna to the IN input properly. I don’t understand; I think I’ve tried everything. I even reset it to factory settings, but nothing works. My antenna cable works perfectly since when I connect it directly to the TV socket, I have excellent reception. So, if someone could help me, thanks in advance.

I have an LG HD READY TCD television and an HD TNTSAT decoder from SAGEM sold for TNTSAT. I want to be able to view HD TV, and for that, I purchased an HDMI-DVI cable to connect the TNT decoder and the LCD TV to the appropriate outputs. The flip side is that at the first power outage, I might not be able to turn it back on.  (It still looks like a real piece of junk based on the posts in the forum).
