Convert an AOL.FR address to AOL.COM?

Hello,
I am an AOL client and I created an AOL nickname via Internet Explorer on AOL.FR (not being at home last week); my problem is as follows: when I open the AOL browser from home, this new address does not appear because all my previously created nicknames displayed on my nickname choice list are on AOL.COM.
I could not find a way to delete this address on AOL.FR to replace it with AOL.COM (so that it appears on the login screen of the AOL browser) since it does not appear in my nicknames (in the AOL browser)!
So how can I delete this address xxxxxxxx@aol.fr via Internet Explorer on www.aol.fr OR how can I convert this .FR address to .COM, no answers on the NEUF-AOL online help and other forums found to date... will I have better luck here??? Thank you in advance.
