SMS hacking with my number

Hello,

Recently, an acquaintance called me to say that I was sending text messages to their phone to "stir up trouble in their relationship"... anyway, I called my operator to request a detailed bill and proof!!! Because indeed, my mobile number is listed on theirs??? Nobody has access to my phone, so I would like to know if a phone can be hacked, or how a person can send texts using my number as the sender???
I will receive a detailed bill, but if someone is using my number, will I be able to see it on the bill?
I have decided to change my number, but it's a hassle because I have to file a police report to get a new phone number!
Is it possible for that person to send themselves texts using my number, because we have had some issues and I'm wondering if it's out of revenge... well, I'm digressing (maybe that's not it at all)!!! Thank you for your responses.
Configuration: Windows 98 Internet Explorer 6.0

Personally, I often played the same game with my friends but in a slightly different way.
On free SMS sites like communicator.clickatel.com (which is paid now...), you can send a text message and choose the number that will appear on the recipient's phone, and you know the rest ;)

For example: you write your message, at the bottom of the text there is a box reserved for the number or name as a signature, if you put +06 63 ******** your recipient will receive the dialed number.

I hope I have relatively answered your question.

I tried to go to the communicator site, etc., but it's in English
How can I make it in French
Thank you

I just read the topic and I am shocked!
I have just been accused of sending hacked texts when I did nothing, and the police along with the SFR operator found that the text came from my IP address even though I did nothing! My IP was stolen, I'm fed up. What can I do to prove my innocence? Can I, in turn, file a defamation suit against SFR and the police?

Thank you for helping me.
