Hello,
When installing Football Manager 2008, after choosing the French language, an error message appears: "Unable to run the installer in graphical mode. The graphical mode of the installer is not supported. Unable to load and to prepare the installer in GUI mode." To give you a better idea, here's a screenshot of my problem:

My configuration is not bad at all. After a format, I installed the latest versions of the drivers. I would also like to point out that this is not a downloaded game but indeed an original one. I tried with pirated versions (I know it's not right) to see if there was an issue with my original version, and I have the same problem. I also tested my CD at friends' houses, two different configurations, and the game installs...
Could there be a compatibility issue with my configuration?

I had the same problem as you, and I think like you, I searched the internet.
I found a solution that worked for me.
Actually, you need to create a new user account and install the game from there...
I don’t really understand why that worked, but oh well...

T!^^, I have never received a response. I tried on the FMEurope forum and on the Sports Interactive forum (the publisher), but got no answer in either case.
Do you have a graphics card similar to mine? Are we the only two people with this problem? It's frustrating to buy a game that doesn't work... Someone please come and help us. Thank you ^^

Does anyone know how I can make it work, please!!! It runs perfectly on my desktop PC (Windows XP Pro), but I can't get it to work on my laptop (Windows Vista Ultimate Edition), even though the specs are much better and the graphics card too.
