Freebox that whistles

Hello,
I have had my Freebox emitting a continuous high-pitched sound for 2 days now, and I no longer have a dial tone on the phone connected to it.
I contacted Free, and they are supposed to send me a power supply unit. But I'm wondering why I still have internet if it's the power supply that is faulty?
Please help me.

    Is the noise coming from the Freebox or the power adapter????

    A Freebox is more expensive; they always hesitate to change it....

      Hello everyone,

      Following the fiber installation and the handling of the cables of the Freebox Revolution and the player, I also had this slight "continuous whistling." I looked at the power blocks of both boxes and noticed that the player one, when off, was flashing. And the whistling stopped when the green light turned on.

      I reset the player and now the box no longer flashes and I no longer have this annoying "wobbling."
