Hello,
I just got myself a Livebox, various issues have already led to its replacement, and now everything is fine in terms of internet, except that I have a problem that persists even after changing the filters: there is a buzzing on my landline (the unlimited phone works well) when I disconnect my Livebox, the line is clear. Please, can you help me?
Sincerely, Jonathan Livingston

I was without a landline for 10 days.
After testing my line, 1013 assured me that the crackling was coming from my internal junction box.
I had an installer come out who found nothing wrong; I rewired my line entirely, replaced my "box" with a new one, removed all extensions by moving this box and drilling a hole in a partition to shorten the circuit. And France Telecom still insisted that my line was "normal."
I ended up disconnecting everything connected to my FT power box and installed and connected a box 40 cm from theirs. Nothing else! And still the crackling!!
On the 10th day, fed up, I went to my local town hall and said: This is the town hall of ........ . Miracle, an appointment was scheduled for the day after tomorrow, December 31, 2008.
The fault was from FT! A defect in the connection of my external line on the FT pole.
I lost units (after recharging my mobile), but no apology from FT!
Today everything is fine.
