Hello everyone,
Currently undergoing training at this institution (ASRBD Bac+4 training), I wanted to share my experience in case it helps someone make their choice (not easy with all the schools)
First of all, regarding the diploma, since the question keeps coming up: yes, it is indeed recognized by the state, in the sense that it is listed in the National Directory of Professional Certifications.
www.rncp.cncp.gouv.fr/grand-public/visualisationFiche?format=en&fiche=12112
However, it is important to make a distinction between a Professional Certification and a university degree.
The professional certification is a certified title at level X which corresponds to the
nomenclature of training levels.
Basically, this nomenclature will be used to define the level of training of an employee in a company and will condition their status (and very likely their salary) within it.
Level III = Bac+2 training
Level II = Bac+3 or Master I Bac+4
Level I = Bac+5, engineering studies
fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nomenclature_des_niveaux_de_formation
Thus, it is not a university diploma per se. This means, for example, that a student who has achieved a level III in computer science has no option to continue their studies towards a level II except in computer science. If they wish to change fields, they have to start over from scratch.
(After all, private schools are such money-making factories that they always find a way around this, but this remains theoretical, of course).
Now regarding the school. I have a rather mixed opinion, so I will try to remain as objective as possible.
The pros:
- A fairly flexible modular curriculum, as teaching is conducted through modules throughout the year. This means that enrollment can happen anytime during the year (a major advantage for some) and that the duration of training can vary depending on the skills already acquired by the student. Therefore, it is possible to complete level II in at least a year and a half, it seems to me.
(BE CAREFUL with the preliminary interview that will determine your entire path. Be sure to emphasize your already acquired skills to avoid useless and redundant modules. I'm saying this because I got caught. I ended up taking 2 years while I had already completed many modules).
- A recognized diploma (see the beginning of the comment)
- Relatively adequate equipment for quality IT training
- Possibility of doing the training alternately, initially, or via CIF
The cons:
- A generally very low level of training from my point of view for a Bac+4. I expected a real challenge for a Master I level, yet I've been here for 8 months and I've learned more in the company than in classes. Sometimes I feel like I'm being treated as a complete fool on the fundamentals. And I'm not even talking about the module validations which are astonishingly easy (most often a poor multiple-choice quiz with 10 questions, while having the course materials and the internet at hand). A lot of slackers in class who pass the validations with ease. This says a lot about the school's output level and how a recruiter will perceive this training.
- It reeks of a money-making factory from the very first interview when they try to set you on the longest path possible. It's even worse when they offer you a "package" for 70 euros with an MSDN account (when it’s supposed to be free for students of a school that has subscribed to an account with Microsoft), plus discounts on Cisco certifications (interesting for Cisco though). It gets downright absurd when they ask if you want to pay 30 euros to help you find a company for your work-study.
- Only a small majority of teachers/instructors are of very good quality. And unfortunately, this is generally what makes all the difference in understanding and mastering a subject well.
That's my opinion. I want to clarify that I am in no way trying to belittle this school, which nonetheless has many advantages. I'm just trying to provide an objective perspective in comparison to all the previous comments I've read which are either very negative or portray everything as flawless.
For those who want more information from me, feel free to contact me privately.
Good luck to everyone! -
Hello,
I attended the RSPD level II training at IPI. So the first piece of advice I can give you is DO NOT GO THERE. This school is awful. All the courses called API actually have nothing—no practical work, no materials, no topics for practical work. The teachers are absent or late. The level of the training is very low. It's just an introduction to computing; even if this diploma is recognized, you'll have a hard time finding an interesting job and especially keeping it.
I did it as part of a fongécif, and I really regret it because I lost a year of training credits. Anyone can get into this terrible school!
Especially do not move for this school; they have no contacts with any companies; it's a lie, and the organized scam of the 30.00 euros for support is just that.
There is no support, the answer you will get is "go on the internet."
In class, they mix level II and III for level IV courses.
DO NOT MOVE FOR THIS SCHOOL.-

AND THIRTY EUROS THE BIGGEST SCAM IN THE WORLD TO MAKE MONEY FAST... FOR A CONTRACT THAT DOESN'T MAKE SENSE
BUT ANYWAY, it's simple, go on-site during the break and do a survey with people on break and you'll see the level. No need to consult the management who will tell you it's great.. just the students or adults in funding. Guaranteed result. It's crap, don't waste your time, except to take a vacation or get a fake diploma or receive benefits without too much hassle.
P.S.: DON'T GO THERE, ESPECIALLY DON'T GO THERE, ESPECIALLY DON'T GO THERE -
Hello,
I am in this training center, it's good, how can you say that they do not provide support when the majority of the courses have it! Moreover, thanks to them, I found an employer to allow me to do my adsr training!! In this center, there are all levels both in students and instructors.
To those who are interested, come during the breaks and talk to the students, you'll see what they think!!!!

Hello,
I spent 4 years there, training in alternating cycles from my high school diploma to a bac +4, so I obtained the TSMIR diploma (bac +2) and RPDS (bac +4).
It is true that obtaining the diplomas is not very complicated; you need to pass at least 60% of the modules (if you work a bit, there’s no problem), write a good internship report (the equivalent of a thesis), and give a good oral presentation of your project using a PowerPoint in front of a jury made up of mentors from different companies as well as some representatives from the IPI.
I still had EXCELLENT speakers, some of whom still teach at this institution and are at the same time researchers/doctors in computer science (bac +7 or 8) and contributors; it’s truly a privilege to have such speakers. Unfortunately, most students do not know how to take advantage of this and do not realize anything... They still think they are in high school where doing a bit of work at home annoys them to the highest degree; everything is owed to them :/
Otherwise, what cch77 says is accurate :)
I really encourage you to check it out if you're interested! -
Hello.
Run away, it is impossible to get any paperwork from them, neither a description nor a diploma level. They ask you for 2 or 3 documents and enroll you without even your signature and take the grant. If you go there, it's a dead end and the grant is wasted for nothing.
They give you appointments and don't show up, on top of that.
Trust me, this school, stay away from it!!!
I went to take tests later at Doranco, nothing to compare, they keep you informed, the people on internship are happy. A friend did this training at Afpa, everything went smoothly and he got a job afterward.
Don't go there, it's a piece of advice.
They have several names, hard to keep track (Paris, Quai de Jemappe) Adip, IPI, IGS... you can find out, they are the same :( -
Hello,
I'm starting a bac +4 rpsd certification on Friday, and I would like to have more information about the certification itself, that is to say:
* When you obtain your certification, what does it actually bring to a CV? For example, we will be bac +4, but as you know, now the "standards" are LMD, and here we are at the master's level, so not really within the "standards".
* Can we continue after the certification to pursue a master's degree, and if so, if you have the names of certain master's programs or schools that accept it, I'm interested ;)
* Is the program interesting, and are the trainers good?
* For those who stopped after their bac +4, what is the average gross annual salary, and what positions were these individuals hired into?
Thank you in advance, I've left my email if you want to contact me, no worries. -
Hi,
it's clear that you didn't stay there long, you're really talking nonsense. I've been there for 2 years and I haven't had a single day without a teacher. What they call modules are actually courses.
As for the diplomas from IPI, instead of talking crap, you should check the ministry's website, and you can verify that they are indeed recognized.
You'd be better off keeping quiet than spreading lies. For your information, if you want a job when you graduate, go for it because over 90% of graduates find work within 3 months.

Hello,
I am also registered, I am looking for a company for the same training.
I will start when I find a company.
They are serious, they advise me, they help me with my searches, they train for interviews, they help to create a good CV....
A friend recommended this center to me, he completed a professional degree in alternating education there, and they found him a company, where he still works, by the way. -
For DDK92,
I am the Data Security Project Manager (RPDS), and I finish in August. I have my thesis to prepare, by the way.
To answer your questions.
- The overall quality of the training?
Good, professional speakers and aligned with market trends.
- Is the content interesting?: Looking at the program, I noticed a significant part focused on project meeting management, etc., and another smaller focus on pure IT. Could some students tell me if it isn’t too theoretical and if it remains interesting to avoid losing interest?
Actually, it depends on your acquired skills and what you want to review... don't hesitate to adapt according to your needs, that's the strength of the center. If you want Java, just ask for Java... but there is, of course, a core focus on project management, best practices, system architecture/urbanization, change management, etc. ITIL and TOEIC certification passage. If you want to do project management or management, you won’t find training as comprehensive elsewhere on this subject... I have already inquired.
- The quality of the center? The teaching? See the first question. PS: teachers are always present; that’s not the case elsewhere.
- The share of practical IT and theory? answered.
- The success rate? It depends on the people; it’s very heterogeneous. You have to work well on your continuous assessment and then give a great project presentation in front of a jury.
That's it, see you soon.

Hello everyone!
I became interested in this institute simply by seeing an ad, and I wanted to get the opinions of trainees on this forum.
I’m going to a Wednesday meeting, but I’m explaining my situation here to see if others have had the same experience as me.
I am on leave from the public service, with the project of taking a training course in IT and thus resuming my previous activity... as an analyst programmer (but that goes back over 15 years, hence the need for a refresher training).
I was accepted into the AFPA tests for the IT developer designer training (level II), but the problem is that since I am on leave, I am entitled to absolutely no unemployment benefits, and I have to live off my savings. No possibility of any even minimal compensation can be granted to me by AFPA due to my leave status, and since the next intake won’t be until April at the earliest, well, I’m “in trouble.”
I was hoping for a start in January and could have managed until the end of December without resources, but now, 4 more months, not to mention the time to find a job... not enough savings. And I really don’t want to go back to the police.... However, it would be completely unreasonable to resign outright, given the current situation (I’m 40 years old! so already considered a dinosaur in the IT world...)
All this to ask if there are any apprenticeship training options at IPI that allow for even a small monthly income, or any other arrangement that could suit my situation.
Thank you all and good luck with your projects.-
For the training, not much has been said already. As for your situation, I know the school has many funding options. But in a career change like yours, it is done through the IPI; I've already come across former doctors or others. However, it doesn't seem to me that you have any remuneration; you will simply have an internship...
Feel free to contact the center's team...
Best regards, Morgan -

Hello.
Run away, it is impossible to get any paperwork from them, neither a description nor a diploma level. They ask for 2 or 3 papers and register you without even your signature and take the subsidy. If you go there, it's a dead end (they do whatever they want, no documents) and the subsidy is wasted for nothing.
They give you appointments and then don't show up (it was supposed to be to hand me the quote that I never received). Then they tell me it's fine, they will handle everything with the regional council. I still ask for a description (with the targeted diploma) and I get nothing. I ask 4 times by email, nothing. I call the secretary, she doesn't want to talk to me (yet she spoke to me to ask for Pôle emploi documents, health insurance card, etc.). I tell them to forget it for me, and 15 days later I get a phone call saying "You haven't started the internship, it was today."
They have no consideration for people, and what I read about them elsewhere does not surprise me, neither about the trainers nor about the "you handle it yourself."
Believe me, this school, stay away from it!!!
I went to take tests later at Doranco, nothing to compare, they keep you informed, the interns are happy. A friend took this training at AFPA, it was great and he got a job afterwards.
Don't go there, it's a piece of advice.
They have several names, hard to keep track (Paris quai de Jemappes) inspi or adip or ipi or igs...
You can check on the forums, they are all the same :( -
Could someone give me information about the nature of their test please? I have no information on it and I would eventually like to be able to catch up on certain points if that turns out to be necessary.
Thank you in advance. -
Hello,
I confirm what Arcalide said. The diploma is a Level II professional certification registered in the RNCP; it's the same as what you find at EPITA, except they go up to Level I (Bac +5). Enrollments can happen at any time since it's a personalized program, and the modules are already scheduled in recurring groups over the years. -
Indeed, you’re talking a load of crap; all the certifications are recognized by the state, just go check the website.
I started the RPDS (which is equivalent to a Bac+4) and I’ve done some research because I’m interested in doing a Bac+5, and apparently at the end of this fourth year we can continue in the second year of a Master’s.
So far, the speakers I’ve had are excellent. -
Hello Meknesi,
Given your background, it will take 2 years, but don’t worry about your knowledge; when I enrolled, I didn’t have more knowledge than you. I knew how to use Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, I had done a bit of algorithms and had used Access software in high school, and that was it! In fact, I enrolled right after getting my Computer Science Management diploma (STT IG).
I looked for companies around my home in vain... and it was the school that called me to say they had found a company. I had a friend come to this school and currently he has a company and is doing very well in class.
And speaking of financing, what is €30 compared to your future and what the school can bring you? Karim, I invite you to find a school with so many advantages for such a low fee.
Despite a longer response time, I remain available for your questions.
Good luck to everyone! -
Hello everyone!
I'm browsing forums to find a training program for next semester. I have a BTS in Computer Science and I'm currently doing a degree that doesn't quite suit me...
I might be interested in the Data Security Project Manager training.
Could you tell me more:
- the overall quality of the training?
- Is the content interesting?: looking at the program, I noticed a significant part on project meeting management, etc., and a smaller part on pure computing. Can students tell me if it's too theoretical and if it remains interesting so as not to lose motivation?
- the quality of the center? of the teaching?
- the balance between practical computing and theory?
- the success rate?
Finally, it states that the training lasts between 12 and 24 months. I have a vocational baccalaureate in computer science, a BTS in computer science through work-study, and I'm currently doing a degree through work-study. What do they base the duration of the training on? Are there specific tests or is it at the discretion of the student? of the school?
Lastly, if you have any other information about the training, I would be grateful!!
Thank you very much for your valuable information. -
Thank you for your response.
I don't have to look for a company since I will be doing the continuing education, but I'm wondering if it won't be too difficult to find a job without any experience (apart from a three-week internship), are the IPI training programs appreciated and recognized by companies in the sector? Are there former students to testify? -
Your training culminates in a professional certification level III, which is recognized by the Ministry of Labor in the field of computing. In the world of computing, you will therefore have a bac +2. However, if one day you decide to completely change direction, that is to say change sectors, it seems to me that your level of study will not be recognized.
When you have validated your diploma, I think you won't have too much trouble finding a job, as many companies accept beginners with a bac +2. -
I'm there, I'm taking a level 2 certification: project manager in data and security, and I'm working at the same time.. the modules are well done even though the facilities are not great.. the equipment is of good quality otherwise it's a good path and you can continue after a master's second year in general studies so it's perfect.
-
up ,
please it's quite important, I potentially have 6 years of study to review in a few days, I would like to do some cleaning to get to the essentials (and my head is like applesauce trying to review everything and anything in math ... I'll go to bed less dumb but dead :D ) -
Good evening,
The tests at the IPI consist of logic exercises. There is no need to review your classics. You just need to come with your head on your shoulders, some common sense, and a solid resume/portfolio.
See you soon at the IPI, perhaps.
