I recently joined Instagram and I'm wondering: How can I tell if someone has read the message?

    Hello,
    On Instagram, there is no mention indicating that a message has been read (unlike Whatsapp or Facebook, for example), so we cannot.

      On Instagram, we can't see who has read a message, but on WhatsApp, we can. You just need to press and hold the message, then tap the "i" that appears at the top of the page; it shows the time when the message was opened.

        I may have poorly phrased it; I meant to say that on WhatsApp and Facebook you CAN see the time.
