    Hi

Security "keys"? Isn’t that more like a secure boot certificate or an SSD encrypted with BitLocker?

    Hello,

If the SSD is locked by BitLocker or another security feature (TCG Opal/eDrive), a simple format is not enough. You must first disable the encryption or perform a Secure Erase via the SSD manufacturer's software or the BIOS/UEFI, if this option is available.

Also check that the SSD is detected in the BIOS and in Windows Disk Management. If important data is still present, avoid any further manipulation and try to recover it with a data recovery tool before completely resetting the drive.

    Hello,

You can use Active@KillDisk Freeware to erase it. (Low Level Format)
