Return material found at a deceased cousin's house

Hello

My cousin has passed away, I have some equipment (2 boxes) to return to Free (or...?) I would like to have return labels, I can't obtain them after already calling the paid number twice...

What should I do?

    Did you contact Free at 3244, specifying the Free box ID or your cousin's first and last name and address?

    Isn't there a Free store nearby the city you live in? If so, go see them and explain your problem.

    On Free's site (https://portail.free.fr/), I read:

    If you prefer postal mail, we recommend sending by registered mail with return receipt to the following address: PUBLIDISPATCH / FREE RSL - BP 40090 - 91003 EVRY CEDEX. Note that only the termination letter should be sent to this address. Your equipment should be returned to the address indicated on the return slip, available in your Subscriber Space after your subscription is canceled.

    You will find other information on the Internet about termination procedures, for example HERE.

    I advise you not to use 3644, since you will have to send a copy of the death certificate anyway.

    And above all, do not take any initiative regarding the return of equipment. Wait to have the return slip.

      Hello,

      I don’t know the exact case, but a number of suppliers, as happened to me after my mother’s death, will not be satisfied with a death certificate alone and will require that the person terminating the contract has the authority to write on behalf of the deceased, i.e. be listed in the act of notoriety.

      Others add a layer if the heirs in question are multiple, demanding that this author provide a power of attorney from the co-heirs.
