How to find network on FreeTelec?

Hello, I recently found a free app that allows me to control my Freebox from my smartphone (Android) with a virtual remote. But the problem is that when I do a “network scan,” it doesn’t work, well, it doesn’t work anymore.

Personally, I use another app that acts as a remote control for Free and even for my Samsung TV, it's Télé Star. I recommend you take a look at it, it automatically detects your network.

Hello, I had the same problem and it was because I was connecting to freewifi instead of connecting to my private freebox network. You need to look for the name of your freebox network and your SSID code (or WPA key) which is on a label inside the box of the freebox server. Then you just have to enter them in your network settings on your phone and it will work! And on your personal account on free.fr, go to configure my freebox router and set it to active if it’s not already. I didn’t know that and it drove me crazy!! Good luck!!

Hi,

Free Telec, as its name indicates, allows you to replace the remote control of the Freeplayer. You need to be in the same room as the player; otherwise, it won't work.
Stand in front of the TV box (the Freeplayer) and restart a search; you'll see that it finds your box right away!
At least for mine, it works very well!
