Transfer my free.fr emails to Outlook

Hello everyone!
My mom recently changed her free.fr password and had to log out of Outlook to log back in. The problem: it "deleted" all her old emails!
I'm using quotation marks because, in reality, the emails are still visible and accessible on Zimbra (Free's email service). Phew! But my mom wants to be able to see her old emails on her Outlook...
I don't know anything about Outlook, and I'm remote, which makes it incredibly hard to help her!
Could you please tell me how to transfer all her old emails to her Outlook software? Thank you very much!

Hello,
There is no transfer of emails from Free to Outlook.
Outlook is an email manager and reads what is on Free's servers. That’s why emails are still visible on Zimbra, which is Free's online manager.
Since they are still visible, it means that the Free account in Outlook was using the IMAP protocol (the emails stay at Free). This is a good thing. The emails are not lost as long as we do not choose to delete them.
Regarding Outlook, I would like to know if we are talking about the "new" Outlook (free) or the one provided with the Office software suite (paid).
Normally, it is enough to recreate the account or change the password.
With the "new" Outlook, I don’t know how to do it: nothing works.
With the old Outlook, there are normally no difficulties.
Let us know where the difficulties lie and what you have managed to do.
What is well conceived is clearly expressed,
And the words to say it come easily.

Hello,
Thank you for your response. Unfortunately, it seems to be the new Outlook...
If anyone finds a solution, please help me.
All the research I've done has yielded nothing.
Accessing through the control panel only works with the old Outlook. So that's to be forgotten.
Given that it's better to have an email client, if only to share files from Explorer, I can only recommend that you install Thunderbird.
It's certainly not the solution you were hoping for, but I have nothing else to suggest. The ergonomics are a bit different from those of Outlook, but it's not very complicated.
Additionally, the software has quite effective spam management (after some learning).
Overall, it is far more efficient than Outlook.
Finally, if you encounter difficulties, you can be assured of finding help without issues (including on CCM), given the very large number of users.
