Hello,
PC running W10 Pro 64, ESU extended security updates until 2032, browsing via updated Google Chrome, I was in front of my YouTube screen for concerts last night at 10:45 PM, but suddenly the LinkedIn page appeared on part of the screen, and incredible but true, in the 2 fields without doing anything, my LinkedIn account email address was typed out quickly letter by letter, + after that my password!
=====> my emergency action was to immediately log out of the account, + change the password
I don’t understand how this is possible because in Google settings there is a blocking option to remember passwords
What do you think, what should I do for PC security?

Hello,
What you're describing is worrying, but it doesn't necessarily mean that a hacker was controlling your PC live. It could be a malicious browser extension, a malfunctioning autofill software, or more rarely, unauthorized remote access. You did the right thing by disconnecting immediately and changing your password.
As a precaution, check the installed Chrome extensions, run a full scan with Windows Defender, review the devices connected to your Google and LinkedIn accounts, and enable two-factor authentication (2FA) if it's not already done. Also, consider changing the passwords for important accounts.

Same old change of username for this new cycle of "irrefutable" recommendations in response to his own inquiries.
Why not continue under the identity:

at the risk of depriving new followers of this wealth of knowledge.

Hello Neha,
Regarding the serious problem with my LinkedIn account. I'm letting you read my latest post on CCM that I posted this morning.
And I'm continuing to perform checks on our 5 family PCs as you suggested, with already great success in removing viruses, trojans, ... and blocking remote access services.
See you, and have a great weekend in advance.
