(mcAfee) blocks my internet connection Solved

Question

Hello everyone

I think my antivirus McAfee is blocking my internet connection
actually my computer is connected to my wifi router but I can't open any web pages or MSN or anything

I don't know how to fix the problem, if someone knows where to look in the McAfee settings;

I just found myself with the same problem... unable to connect to the internet and unable to restore...
So, after 1 hour, I uninstalled McAfee... and, as soon as I restarted, the internet connection was restored... I then reinstalled that good old free Avast that I've been using for years without ever having any problems... That's it!!!

And yet I'm definitely connected ^^ and I'm sure it's coming from McAfee because this problem started just after a restart (requested by the PC after that update XD)

Hi guys

So you do:

icon Mcafee -> network and internet -> configure -> arrow "firewall protection -> advanced... -> program permissions (left column) -> and you choose the programs to allow (games, internet explorer, etc...)

If you don’t see the permissions for your programs, you set the security level to "normal" (the slider) and then relaunch your programs and McAfee will ask you if you want to allow them or not

If it continues after that, it means your computer is not powerful enough for the software.
Imagine, McAfee uses, let's say, 80% of the power, so you only have 20% left for the rest. The solution: change your PC or your antivirus.
I had the same problem with this antivirus, and now the Freebox disconnects every 20 minutes.

Hello,
Here is my problem,

I had a Freebox that broke down, so I took a Livebox, but the connection doesn't work. I remembered that a long time ago, I wanted to uninstall McAfee, but the uninstaller didn't work, so I deleted it by removing the program files. Apparently, some components are still there and are blocking my internet! I don’t know their names, so it’s tough to delete them!
I have uninstalled the .inc (McAfee drivers) that I saw were still there, but I still don’t have internet!
I’m fed up; anyway, if someone finds something that could help me solve this problem, that would be great.

Hi everyone, I had a problem when I went to install msn; it was blocking the pages and here’s the solution:
right-click on the mcafee icon in the taskbar / virusScan console...
then another page appears / protection during access / right-click on it / choose deactivate and that’s it
