Hello, for a few days now my laptop screen has been jumping around. The pages scroll very quickly and I can't stop them. Sometimes things like the printer pop up in the middle or requests appear and I can't read or do what I want. How can I stop this? I'm using Chrome. Thank you.

Hello,
It's not necessarily a screen issue... it could be many things.. even something external to the computer... that triggers nearby electromagnetic fields and makes the image cut out..?? check what's new "in the last few days" or even the heat..?
Furthermore, we need to know the brand of this computer, the model, its age, and the version of Windows..?
See what happens in "Safe Mode"... On battery... and also on the charger..

Hello, in fact it's an HP laptop that is 4 years old. I'm using it plugged in. My battery hasn't worked for a year. And I'm on Windows 10. I'm not very good with computers. I've tried several solutions but since it also freezes, it's very complicated.

Hello,
This may either be a stuck keyboard key (up/down arrow, Tab, etc.) or a problem with the touchpad or a connected mouse. First, try unplugging any external mouse and gently cleaning the keyboard. You can also test if the issue appears in another browser or in Windows settings.
If the pages scroll on their own everywhere in Windows and not just in Chrome, it is likely a hardware issue (keyboard or touchpad). Restarting in safe mode may also help identify the source of the problem.

It doesn't really help, how old is this PC..? and what is the model of HP..?? It's engraved on the back, you need to turn the PC over to read it.
This Windows may also be corrupted... Or the disk has bad sectors..? or some other mechanical defect..
If safe mode doesn't work, it suggests that Windows is corrupted..

Hi,
The idea is to reinstall Windows... but without knowing the model of this HP or the original version of Windows, there’s a certain amount of risk... It’s like driving at night without lights..!!
There are several other possibilities besides a corrupted Windows that should also be considered.
And when displaying the BIOS, does the screen also flicker..??
