    Hello,

    Your device is quite old, around 2012, and this latest update is a security patch that Apple provided for older models.

    This causes the system to become sluggish, and applications require much more resources, and the processor of your iPad can no longer keep up with downloads, as well as opening pages, leading to freezes caused by this patch.

    You should try clearing the Safari cache and deleting temporary files that slow down the system.

    For now, it’s better to disable automatic updates to prevent it from working in the background.

    Reset the network settings to hopefully gain some speed.

    However, it remains an iPad that falls into the category of older models.
