Hello,
I am reaching out to you because I have a big problem with my iPad. I know it’s a few years old, but it still works.
I can’t install updates for some applications because I get the message that I need to have a new version, iOS 12.
I’ve searched and searched and I can’t find how to do it. Help help Vincent ???? Please help me.

Hello,
Operating system updates (iOS) are offered automatically; it's possible to search for them by going to "settings"
=> If it tells you that it is up to date, then it is "up to date."
=> This means that your iOS is considered "obsolete" by Apple
=> The latest version on the market will not install (September 2021: iOS 15).
To continue installing applications, there is a trick.

If the manipulation is done correctly, it looks like this (except for case 1/):
As soon as it's in "Purchases" (a list of all downloads):
1/ It still displays an incompatibility message; as soon as you see the word "requires," it means that the application did not exist when the iOS on your device was created or that the older versions of the application have been removed from the App Store (for technical reasons, I hope...).
2/ It installs and everything works perfectly.
3/ It installs, however, without the latest versions, the application is unusable after installation!
4/ It installs but works with difficulty (frequent crashes).
