Difficulty removing an app on my TV

Hello,

I have a Philips TV Model No: 55PUS8009/12. I want to delete an app that I recently installed. However, it's impossible! Does anyone have a solution?

    Hello,

    Have you tried unplugging the power cord and then attempting the procedure to remove this application?

    Possibly by resetting it.

      I reset the TV and the app unfortunately remains installed..

      Did I perform the right operations? I don't know..

    Hello,

    I have a Philips television, but it's running Android.

    To uninstall an app, you just need to move the cursor over the app and long press the OK button (which is used to launch the app). A menu will appear that allows for the uninstallation.
    I can't guarantee it will work on your television, but it's worth a try.

      I tried to long press on the app but it gets removed from the list and not from the TV.

      If the reset and long press on the app didn’t work, it’s possible that some apps are “pre-installed” or “system” apps and cannot be normally deleted on your Philips 55PUS8009/12 television.
