Integrated Screencast Application on My TV

Hello,

I recently purchased a smart TV.
It has various built-in apps like Netflix and YouTube.
It also has an app called Screencast, but I have no idea how to use it? Is it good for sharing my phone screen on my television, and if so, how do I do it?

      Hello everyone, I'm coming in much later but the post is still active and I was wondering the same thing before finding out.

      SOLUTION: if you have the Smart View app, it works well! I have a Polaroid smart TV and I go on Screencast.

      When the TV asks for a connection, I go on my phone and open the app (from a Samsung, for other brands check if it can be downloaded) then the TV is found immediately: connection established.

      I hope this can help some of you.
