Hello,

Which app should I download to keep my photos? Google Photos is telling me that my photo storage is full.

I've heard about "Drive" but I don't know what it is.

Hello,

Everything that stores data online is, however we want to call it, a Drive or a Cloud.

Google has a cumulative storage space for all its functions, photos but also email or storage of other files.

We will have the same problem with other mainstream Clouds, the most well-known being OneDrive from Microsoft, where the space is always limited to roughly the same values.

The solutions then are either to buy additional storage space from one or the other, or to use a paid Cloud where the storage space can be considerable, but then the sync with your phone is not automatic.

Or to store these photos on a computer, external disk...

But this is true for all online storage, not just Google.

If one intends to use such storage, it should always be complementary to local storage, not a replacement, although the durability of a hard drive is also not eternal but does not depend on third parties.

Are these photos taken with a smartphone that are automatically saved in Google Photos?

Are these various photos, possibly taken with a digital camera, that you save yourself in Google Photos?
