Yahoo Mail inaccessible

Hello,

I have several email addresses on Yahoo.fr. For a few days now, one of these addresses is no longer accessible; it does not recognize my credentials and keeps redirecting me to a recovery email that doesn't work even though it is correctly set up. How can I contact Yahoo to recover it? I've tried all the requested steps, but nothing works, and in the meantime, my inbox is filling up ??? Thank you for your help!

Hello,

Are you unable to log in after trying the suggestions above? If you cannot use the Assistant to recover access to your account due to incorrect or inaccessible recovery information, you will no longer be able to access your account.

I can't believe that overnight I can no longer access my email for no apparent reason and especially without being able to contact them and ask for answers ?????

Thank you for your response, but you will understand that it does not suit me at all.

You need to be clear-headed!

You are using a free messaging service, so don't expect miracles or any guarantee of results.

As for the rest, we can't do anything about it here on the CCM forum; the administrators of yahoo.com do whatever they want regarding their own servers.

Thank you for your encouragement.

I know you are not responsible for Yahoo's actions, but you have a very personal way of responding, like "deal with it, you only get what you deserve."

That's not what I was expecting, so I feel that you have not addressed my request. Since I registered on this site, this is the first time my problem has not been resolved.

Thanks anyway.

"It's the first time that my problem hasn't been solved." : Thank you for that compliment.

The purpose of this forum, as you must know given your 18 years of presence, is not necessarily to solve all the problems of all users of all digital technologies, but to provide at least some keys to help you find the solutions yourself, with a bit of personal effort.

These keys have indeed been conscientiously provided in the first response given quite appropriately above by our colleague MPMP10.

I hope you understand that the volunteer contributors on this site cannot substitute for you in your personal dealings with your ISP, especially since we do not know your login credentials, username, password, history, etc.

Finally, no contract for success, free or paid, binds this site to its members. Therefore, no one can have any expectations in this regard.

Have a nice day.

Hello Falbala47,

If the recovery steps have failed, unfortunately there aren't really any other solutions. Yahoo may deactivate and delete accounts after 1 year of inactivity or in case of violation of their terms. Sometimes this can be due to hacking. This is probably not your case, but these are the most common reasons why an account becomes inaccessible overnight.

To check if recovery is possible, go to the Sign-in Helper and enter your email address. Click "Continue" and then Yahoo will offer you different recovery options. If you cannot use them, you may be able to recover your account from the Yahoo Mail app if you are already logged in.

Otherwise, you can check our article on how to recover a Yahoo Mail account. The methods are comprehensive, and if they still do not allow you to recover your account, I am afraid it is unfortunately unrecoverable.

Good luck.

Thank you very much HelpiOS, you gave me the answers I was waiting for and the next steps to follow. For now, I'm having trouble with the connection Assistant which is not available, I will persevere and try to manage.

I'm sorry if I offended some, that was not my intention, it was only my feelings regarding the answers. I would like to thank all the volunteers who help us on this site which I appreciate immensely, don’t doubt that.

This email address that I am trying to retrieve is very important to me and I don’t always understand Yahoo with the new security standards it imposes on us related to the necessity of protecting ourselves.

Thank you all.

Thank you for your message. I understand that you are not satisfied with the solutions offered. Losing access to an important account is a frustrating thing and I am well aware of that. Unfortunately, when a service does not provide sufficient recovery options, it will limit our assistance to what is already offered by the service. For the Sign-In Assistant, try using it from a device that you are accustomed to logging in with.

Hello,

I have exactly the same problem, I no longer have any access to my inbox. Have you found a solution? The Yahoo assistant is not helping either :-(
